Edge Sync "Version Mismatch" Problem
Hello,I have 2 exchange servers.EDGE - Windows 2003ENT x64 R2 SP2 (Build 3790.srv03_sp2_gdr.08013-1204 : Service Pack 2)Edge transport roll installed with Exchange 2007 SP1 Update Rollup 4 and 5 for SP1Standard 2007 Version 8.1 (240.6)EX10- Windows 2003ENT x64 R2 SP2 (Build 3790.srv03_sp2_gdr.08013-1204 : Service Pack 2)Hub, Client Access, Mailbox rolls installed with Exchange 2007 SP1 w/ Updaterollsups 4 and 5 for SP1Standard 2007 Version 8.1(240.6)I'm not able to get EX10 to subscribe to EDGE, I get: Summary: 1 item(s). 0 succeeded, 1 failed. Elapsed time: 00:00:00 Edge SubscriptionFailed Error:The version of the Edge subscription doesn't match any Hub Transport servers in the subscribed site. Exchange Management Shell command attempted:new-EdgeSubscription -FileName 'C:\Documents and Settings\teamadmin\Desktop\finaltest.xml' -Site '12Street' -CreateInternetSendConnector $true -CreateInboundSendConnector $true Elapsed Time: 00:00:00This error is the only error in the EX10 application log all other logs are clear. I tried reinstalling the Update Rollup 5 and still have the same problems...

Hi Brent,Since you have both server at same OS & Exchange version level, looks like cmdlet is not detecting the site of Hub transport server which you mentioned. I agree with Amit. You can run get-exchangeserver to check whether the Hub server is in theSite '12Street'. Mike

Thanks guys, that was the trick. It was a odd error because there are several other sites with 2003 organizations so it was giving wrong version error. . all is good now.Brent
